TOTS & CRAFTS and HEBREW & ME  | Mondays | 10:00-11:00am Who doesn’t love markers, felt, gluesticks, and freedom? Come for free Tots and Crafts! Led by Emily Taylor, who received her Fine Arts degree from Pomona College, with a focus in Sculpture. All ages welcome! Children under 5 should be accompanied by a helpful parent. All materials are provided, and we work on a new project every week! After Tots & Crafts, stay for Hebrew and Me, a storytelling and/or craftmaking session with Dalia Vardy of the Neshama Center! Everyone welcome.

crowlin_ferliesMUSIC TUESDAYS | Tuesdays | 7:00-9:30pm Each Tuesday night Woody Creek Community Center will feature live music. Local band The Crowlin Ferlies led by Sandy Munro, plays traditional acoustic Irish music, and will alternate weeks with local band Thunderclaw led by Travis Blair. Blair plays originals as well as standard folk and rock songs, and is a staple of the Red Onions and El Jebowl Open Mic Nights.

kundalini yogaKUNDALINI YOGA WITH JESSICA LEVY | SOME WEDNESDAYS | Information Session 5:30pm, Yoga from 6:00-7:15pm Unwind with Kundalini Yoga at WC3 this Wednesday. Kundalini yoga uses a combination of asana (postures), mudra (hand position), mantra (sound) and meditation to encourage an experience of spiritual awareness. Arrive at 5:30 for a short informational session on this ‘enlightenment technology’. Yoga will begin at 6:00. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat. WC3 also has extra mats. Free for WC3 members, suggested donation of $2 for non-members. Taught by Jessica Levy.

meditation1SILENT MEDITATION AND DHARMA READING | WEDNESDAYS | 7:30-8:15pm Find your inner peace at the WC3 Wednesday evenings. Beginners welcome. We will do a short reading out loud, and then a 20-25 minute silent meditation. We have extra cushions, but feel free to bring your own! Email to be on the special meditation reminder email list! Usually led by Andrew Scott, M. Div., of the Open Mind Project.


brunchSIGN & DINE SERIES | Learn American Sign Language at Brunch | 3/7/14, 3/14/14, 3/21/14, 3/28/14 | Fridays in March 10:00-11:30am Sign up now for this Sign Language Series at the Woody Creek Community Center, in association with Aspen Camp for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Learn this visual language in four introductory classes. Themes include the alphabet, introductions, to learning about deaf culture, and more!
