FREE WOMEN’S SELF-DEFENSE SEMINAR | Saturday, June 29th | 10:00am-3:00pm Woody Creek Community Center will host a free Women’s Self-Defense Seminar on Saturday, June 29th. FIRST & THIRD TUESDAYS | 8 Universal Spiritual Group | 7:15-8:30pm Woody Creek Community Center hosts ‘8 Universal’ on the first and third Tuesday of each month, from 7:15-8:30pm, starting June 18th. 8 Universal is a spiritual movement whose purpose is to accelerate a shift in planetary consciousness. Group meetings are designed to engage the participant in the process of personal transformation, healing, and empowerment. Meetings are free. Led by Jeff Hoffman.
TUESDAYS | Intro to American Sign Language | June 18th & June 25th | 1:00-2:00pm Have you ever seen a person signing before? Have you ever been curious to try sign language? Now’s your chance! American SignLanguage (ASL) is a beautiful, 3-D language unlike any other. You’ll have the opportunity to learn basic signs that enable you to communicate with deaf and hard of hearing community members. Free drop-in ASL classes will be led by Aspen Camp of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
